Exploring Ancient Vienna and Krios Beach in Crete
If you know Crete a little bit, you know that there are numerous ancient sites. Crete is, after all, the crossroad of three continents and the birthplace of the Western civilization. We headed out to the south last Sunday, towards Paleochora.
Ancient Vienna
In the wider Paleochora area, on the way of Kundura, you can find the ancient site of Vienna. In this ancient city you can find marble columns preserved on the coast and into the small gulf. You can literally see the ancient artifacts lying around.
Krios Beach
Next door Krios Beach is another hidden gem. Its serene environment and beautiful landscapes make it an ideal place for relaxation and meditation. While we believe that the terrain might be challenging for very young children, older kids and adults can enjoy the natural beauty and tranquility it offers.
Personal Experience
As a mom, I found Krios Beach to be a sanctuary for relaxation and meditation. Spending my free Sunday there allowed me to recharge and enjoy some peaceful moments.
Tips for Visitors
