Corfu is in the northern part of the Ionian Sea and carries a rich history from the Venetian, French, and English cultures. Studded with whitewashed houses, olive trees by the dozen, and crystal clear waters, it has long been one of the most popular islands for tourists. With a coastline of 215 km long, you will never be short of a stunning beach to explore on a trip to this incredible island. There are stunning family hotels in Corfu and 12 of the best are listed below.

Family Hotels in Corfu

We have often visited Corfu. It is one of our favorite islands in Greece because it combines a rich history with amazing food and lots of things to see and do for families. The island is also well organized with an international airport, a good infrastructure, and excellent family resorts. We have stayed in two resorts of this list, you can find our reviews on this website.

1. Corfu Imperial, Grecotel Beach Luxe Resort – Kommeno

Situated on its own private peninsula the Corfu Imperial, Grecotel Beach Luxe Resort has 4 private sandy beaches, a pebbly beach, and a large outdoor pool. The rooms at this 5-star hotel all enjoy sea or garden views. There are plentiful opportunities to be entertained at the hotel with a variety of activities from daytime gym and aerobics to evening shows and dancing lessons. The gourmet restaurant Aristos offers a la carte Greek and Mediterranean dishes.

2. Capo Di Corfu – Kavos

Capo Di Corfu is located right on the beach in Agios Petros amidst stunning landscaped gardens. This 5-star hotel offers outdoor pools with mini water slides, a tennis court, table tennis, and a children’s playground which makes it a great family hotel in Corfu. Guests can enjoy fresh Mediterranean and International cuisine at the highly-rated Arete Restaurant, which also has a vegetarian menu. There is also an a la carte restaurant Il Pirata situated by the pool.

3. Konkotali Bay Resort and Spa – Konkotali

The green-key awarded 5-star Kontokali Bay Resort and Spa has its own private beach and sea-water pool. There is also a kid’s pool for the younger members of the family. If you want to be active on your vacation then head to the floodlit tennis court. For those wanting to take it a little easier, there is a well-equipped spa including an indoor pool, Hamman, and hot tub. All rooms include air-conditioning and flat-screen TVs and are set in amongst the stunning gardens.

4. Ikos Dassia – Dassia

With a 450-yard beach, the Ikos Dassia also offers 7 swimming pools which makes it a truly fantastic family hotel in Corfu. Children and adults alike will love the open-air cinema. There is a children’s playground and a specific area dedicated to children in one of the pools. You will all find something to your taste in one of the 6 restaurants serving everything from modern Greek, Italian, French, and local Corfu cuisine. Another great facility for children is the Hero Kids Club, Multilingual mini club, and teenage club which all come with the guaranteed quality of a professional childcare company.

5. MarBella Beach – Agios Ioannis Peristeron

Winner of a Conde Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Award 2022 among the top 10 resorts in Greece, the MarBella Corfu offers guests the option of 3 pools, one of which has water slides. There are 6 restaurants to eat at offering a variety of cuisines from delicious Mediterranean fare through to traditional Greek dishes. The hotel also has its own private beach area with sunbeds, and children will have the chance to go to the kids club on site.

6. Corfu Holiday Palace – Corfu Town

Located close to Corfu Town’s center this stunning 5-star hotel overlooks the Ionian Sea, a lagoon, and the famous Mouse Island. The Hotel has an indoor and outdoor pool and some of the accommodations enjoy their own private pool. There are 6 on-site restaurants so every member of the family will find something to their taste. There’s a variety of activities to enjoy at Corfu Holiday Palace including bicycle rental, a children’s play area, a games room, and a tennis court.

7. Roda Beach Resort and Spa – Karousades

Situated just 900 yards from Roda Beach in Karousades, the Roda Beach Resort and Spa has 6 pools, one of which is a dedicated children’s pool with slides. There is also a restaurant, kids club, and a shared lounge, along with free wi-fi. For children, there is a playground, and for families to enjoy together there is table tennis, darts, and mini golf. If you want to get really active there is canoeing available nearby.

8. Grecotel Eva Palace – Kommeno

The Grecotel Eva Palace is a beachfront resort situated in Kommeno. It has a private beach and a spectacular pool area. The accommodation comes with either a sea view or overlooking the beautiful gardens. All guest rooms are spacious with elegant decor, air conditioning, and TV with satellite and cable channels. Located just 150 yards from sandy beaches the hotel is just 8.1 miles from Corfu Town. For the active family, an extensive range of water sports are available at the beach of the neighboring Corfu Imperial Grecotel Exclusive Resort.

9. Grecotel LUXME Daphnila Bay – Dassia

Children will love the Patisserie-Chocolaterie and Creperie-Gelateria spots at the Grecotel LUXME Daphnila Bay Resort and adults will enjoy the unlimited drinks including selected wines, cocktails, and refreshing juices. There is a beautiful pool to cool down in as well as a beach service. Rooms are situated overlooking the gardens and crystal clear Ionian sea, while the bungalows are tucked away within the olive trees. All tastes are accounted for at one of the 5 restaurants, from Greek flavors at Tavernaki Restaurant or home pizza and pasta at the Corfu-Venezia HotStone Restaurant. The Grecotel LUXME Daphanlia Bay is located next to the Grecotel Imperial and shares some services.

10. Aeolos Beach Resort – Gastourion

Aeolos Beach Resort can enjoy on-site athletics, aquaerobics, and beach volleyball as well as an entertainment program, that changes daily, in their own amphitheater. With a large variety of accommodation options, including family bungalows, this is an ideal family hotel in Corfu. The resort offers a large choice of places to eat and drink, including Greek and international cuisine.

The Aeolos Beach Resort also offers excursions to popular nearby attractions, including Achilleion Palace, Corfu Old Town, and the Gasturi Traditional Village.

11. Labranda Sandy Beach – Agios Georgios

The Labranda Sandy Beach is located on the sandy St George Beach. As an all-inclusive resort, it offers extensive dining, sports, and entertainment facilities for both adults and children. To keep everyone entertained there is a daytime activity program including aqua aerobics, beach volleyball, and painting as well as evening game shows. Younger members of the family can enjoy plenty of activities from the water slides at the pool to mini master chef classes and a treasure hunt.

12. Mareblue Beach – Kassiopi

The seaside Mareblue Beach is situated in St Spyridon of Perithea Village and is on the seafront of one of the most beautiful beaches in Corfu, Agios Spyridon. Nestled among 50,000 m2 of well-tended grounds there is a kids club (pictured below), children’s pool, and playground. There are 3 restaurants to choose from at the hotel and breakfast is included every morning. Each room or suite has its own fridge, coffee, and tea facilities, as well as free wifi.
