Before I moved to Athens, I spent five wonderful summers in a small beach resort near Chania in Crete. With Agia Marina as my base, I worked as a tour guide and accompanied excursions to museums, archaeological sites, and other landmarks in the area of Chania and the rest of Crete. Anastasia, this blog’s partner, lives with her family in Galatas, outside Chania. Together with her kids, she is always out and about searching for new family accommodations and activities. Being well-traveled parents of young kids, and having personally visited all the accommodations that we recommend, we truly believe that we are trustworthy experts on family hotels in Chania, Crete.
